With The Sims 4, I think people just use a mod because by default, in an unmodified game, there are no zombies? With The Sims 3, people may use the zombies from the Supernatural EP and set up the gameplay rules as well.
With The Sims 2, people may use the zombies from the University EP and set up the gameplay rules. I know that there are a couple of YouTube videos related to the topic of creating a zombie apocalypse in The Sims.
